Developing the three pillars

I design every session or programme to deliver the best impact on the practices of you and your people. I believe that there are three interdependent pillars that support effective teams and the leadership that directs and sustains them:

Leading self.  Building self-awareness and developing the confidence to turn up as just plain you, while creating space to be fully present in your interactions. Making compassion a central component of your personal practice and recognising the need to attend to yourself, while  ensuring you receive the support you need; all to enable you to actively contribute on a sustainable basis.

Leading others.         Leading with wise compassion and moral courage, while delivering clarity of purpose. Attending to others with empathy and creating a sense of belonging, while developing autonomy, initiative and responsibility. Learning to let go and look up and out to give contextual understanding to those around you, in order to enhance decision making and motivation.

Leading together.     Developing a culture of followership where critical thinking and active engagement lead to collaboration, creativity and courageous challenge. Taking responsibility for an environment of inclusion, psychological safety and warmth, where all work towards supporting common purpose.
